DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2011

GIBSON

The death has taken place of Helen Gibson, Sandymill, Ballindrait. Her remains will repose at her brother Packie Gibson’s residence at Sandymill, Ballindrait from 7pm today. Funeral from there on Sunday morning at 10.15am for 11am Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

KEENEY

The death has taken place at his residence of Noel Keeney, 11, St Columba’s Avenue, Buncrana. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there on Sunday at 1.15PM for Mass at 2pm in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Medical 1 Comfort Fund, Letterkenny General Hospital.

McGEENEY

The death has taken place of Mary McGreevy, nee McGee, Dundoan, Downings. Removal from there tomorrow, Saturday, to the Church of St John The Baptist for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private from 11pm to 10am.

McLAUGHLIN

The death has occurred in Denville, New Jersey, USA of Fr Anthony McLaughlin (Mason) formerly of Urblereagh, Malin Head. His remains are reposing at his late residence at Urblereagh. Funeral from there on Sunday at 2.15pm to St Mary’s Church, Lagg, Malin for Requiem Mass at 3pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the RNLI c/o Kelly’s Funeral Directors, Carndonagh. Family flowers only.

FAY

The death has taken place of Patricia Fay, Bradog Lane, Church Road, Bundoran.  Suddenly at her residence.  Reposing at Gilmartin’s Funeral Home Kinlough this evening from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral arriving at the Church of our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran, tomorrow Saturday morning for Mass of the Resurrection at 10am. Removal afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin for cremation service at 2.30pm. No flowers please, donations in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society c/o Conlon and Breslin funeral directors.

GALLAGHER

The death has taken place of Mary Gallagher, Lakeview, Trummon, Laghey, Co Donegal.  Removal from her residence on Saturday for 11am Funeral Mass at St. Brigid’s Church, Ballinatra, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral. Family Flowers only, donations in lieu to the Oncology Unit, Sligo General Hospital, or care of any family member.
