The death has taken place of John Rooney, Kinnakillew, Glencolmcille, Co Donegal, in Birmingham, England. Remains arriving at Knock Airport at 3pm on Wednesday, and will arrive at St Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille, at 7pm. Funeral mass on Thursday at 11 am, with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

McGROARTY
The death has occurred of Liam McGroarty, Coolmore, Rossnowlagh, Co Donegal, at Sligo General Hospital. Remains reposing at the residence of his son, John, Ardeskin, Old Laghey Road, Donegal Town. Removal from his son’s residence on Thursday at 10.15am for 11am funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon. Cremation will take place in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin at 3pm. Family flowers only please. House private on the morning of the funeral.
