Hundreds of people are expected to pay their last respects to tragic Termon man Danny Gallagher who will be laid to rest today.

The father-of-five will be buried after funeral mass at noon.

Mr Gallagher, 48, a well-known ESB employee, was killed on Saturday afternoon last when a tree fell on top of him at his brother Ciaran’s home near Doon Well.

The men were cutting down a 25 foot evergreen tree to allow more light into Ciaran’s home when the freak accident occurred.

The late Mr Gallagher is survived by his wife Dawn and the couple’s five children who range in age from 2 to 19 years.
