DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2011

McCAFFERTY

The death has taken place of Mr Charlie McCafferty, formerly Creevy, Ballyshannon. Peacefully at Sligo General Hospital. Removal from Sligo General Hospital today at 6pm. Reposing at The Rock Nursing Unit, Ballyshannon with removal on Tuesday at 6.20pm to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, for 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am, with interment in The Abbey Assaroe Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to The Rock Nursing Unit, c/o Patrick McKenna and Paddy Fox Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon.

MARTIN

The death has occurred of Packie Martin, Drumoghill, Manorcunningham. Remains will be received into St Columba’s Church Drumoghill today at 4.30pm to repose overnight. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to The Friends of Letterkenny General Hospital – c/o Paschal Blake, Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny.

KENNY

The death has taken place of Maggie Kenny, formerly of Carrickfinn Her remains are reposing at her daughter Bridget Gallagher’s residence at Driom na Ceart, Annagry. Removal from there today at 6.30pm going to the Star of the Sea Church Annagry for 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow 11am with removal afterwards for Cremation. Family flowers only if desired.  Donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice c/o Steven O’Donnell and Sons Funeral Directors or any Family member.

KELLY

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Packie Kelly, The Glebe, Letterkenny, formerly of Claggan, Carrigart, brother of Sarah Mc Elaney. His remains are reposing at the home of his Nephew Donal Mc Elaney, The Glebe, Letterkenny. Funeral tomorrow to the Church of St John the Baptist Carrigart for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining Cemetery.

MCFADDEN

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Mary McFadden, (The Gap), Upper Derryreel, Falcarragh. Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghey tomorrow at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only.  Donations if desired to Donegal Diabetic Association c/o Seamus Harkin Undertaker or any Family member.

MCAULEY

The death has taken place in Hillcrest Nursing Home Letterkenny of Bob McCauley, Magheracloy, St Johnston. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from there today at 3pm, going to St Columba’s Church, Drumoghill to repose overnight. Funeral mass tomorrow at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

KEARNEY

The death has taken place of Hughie Kearney at his Nephew Dan and Kathleen’s residence at Ballybrack, Moville. Funeral from there tomorrow at 10.30AM, going to St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery

DOHERTY

The death has taken place of John Doherty, Ladden, Fanad His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church Fanavolty for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please donations if desired to the Diabetic association, c/o Eamon Scott Funeral Director or any Family member.
