EXCLUSIVE: More than 50 new jobs are to be created at a new value store to be opened in Donegal this Thursday, Donegaldaily.com can reveal.
The Dealz discount store, formerly Poundland, will open its doors to the public at its new premises at Letterkenny Retail Park.
The store, which is an impressive 8,500 ft square in size, is located across from the Radisson Hotel and close to the Evolve clothing store.
Dealz Senior Business Manager Leonard Brassel said he was delighted by the opening of the Donegal store as well as another story in Kerry.
“We are extremely excited about the opening of our new Irish stores and are looking forward to bringing an extensive range of products offering amazing value, including over 1000 Top Brands, to new customers at Dealz.
“We are confident that value savvy Donegal consumers will love it,” he added.
Dealz offers customers a wide selection of well known top brands and established own label products at amazing value prices.
Product categories include food & drink, health and beauty, baby, batteries, homeware, pet, books and DVDs, toys, celebrations and seasonal ranges such as Christmas and Valentines.
Many passers-by were already trying to gain access to the store today when Donegaldaily.com visited the Letterkenny Retail Park.
The opening of the new store as well as the 50 new jobs is welcome news for Letterkenny and Co Donegal in general.
There was further good news recently with the opening of Smyth’s Toy Store on the other side of the retail park which took on 30 new employees.
