A number of people have been injured in yet another crash in Kilmacrennan today.

Diversions are now in place and gardai and ambulances are at the scene.

The incident comes just ten days after a three car smash in the centre of the village.

An eye-witness said: “Two cars are involved but thank God no-one has been killed or seriously injured. One car is over the ditch.”

The N56 is closed at the scene of the crash and will remain closed for several hours.

Gardai are re-routing traffic around the crash.
