At the National Intermediate Championships at the National Stadium in Dublin there were victories for Daniel Tourish of Twin Towns and Anton Brady of Dunfanaghy ABC.
67kg: Anton Brady (Dunfanaghy) beat Terry McLoughlin (Dunboyne) 15-5

91kg: Daniel Tourish (Twin Towns) beat Mark Clarke (St Marys Dublin) 9-3
