ENVIRONMENTAL investigators fear a whale washed up on beach today could have been killed by fishing nets.
The 30-foot whale was found on a beach in Raghly in north county Sligo.
Sligo County Council have despatched staff to the area to seal off the beach before a full investigation tomorrow morning.
