A number of athletes travelled to the Racecourse Grounds in Sligo last weekend where the course and conditions were difficult.
There was some excellent performances and great experience gained. The u-16 girls team competed well with Jade O’Donnell, Zaria Boyle, Caroline Sharkey and Aideen Meehan all making the Donegal team who finished 8th team overall.
Worth noting also was Meabh McBride who got on the Donegal team who finished 6th in the u-12 girls. Thanks to all who travelled and helped out.
Training continues next week at Carrickfinn on Wednesday at 5:30 and Friday at 4pm.
The club monthly meeting was held last Thursday night and there was a good attendance and there is plans for a club walk/jog/run on New Years Day so watch for details.
The club underage presentation night will take place in the hall in Mullaghduff on Wednesday Dec 14th at 7pm. All children and parents are asked to come along.
