GLENTIES DIVIDED ON WINDFARM DEVELOPMENT (AGAIN)

GLENTIES is STILL divided over a controversial windfarm development…10 months after we first reported it was split.

A decision on the planning conditions attached to the approved application will be given in the next few days, we can reveal.

Landowners who get paid to allow the turbines onto their property will get much-needed income from the developers.

But local environmentalists say trees will be cleared and turbines will surround the area. A final decision is due next Thursday.
