WEST DONEGAL LEFT WITHOUT INTERNET AFTER MAJOR FAULT

written by Stephen Maguire December 2, 2011

Thousands of homes across West Donegal are without the internet.

Eircom’s broadband service has not been working in many towns and villages including Dungloe, Falcarragh, Loughanure and many other areas since 10pm last night.

ATM machines, lotto machines and household internet services are all down.

Eircom are believed to be working on finding the fault.

One local said “It’s at times like this that you realise how important the internet is.

“The worse thing is that we can’t even log on to Donegaldaily.com to see what is happening across Donegal.”
