DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2011

GARVEY

The death has occurred of Noreen Garvey, Drimnafingle, Kilcar. Removal from Letterkenny General Hospital today at 6pm to arrive at her home at 8pm. Removal from there on Monday at 11.30am for Funeral Mass in St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Kilcar Cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral. Further enquiries to John Carr, Funeral Director.

GIBSON

The death has taken place at his home of George Gibson, Ballyboe, Convoy. Remains will repose at Gibson’s Funeral Home, Broadpath, Convoy  today from 6pm to 10pm and tomorrow (Sunday) from 3pm to 10pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday at 1.30pm for service in St Ninian’s Parish Church, Convoy at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the family plot. House is strictly private. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Donegal Hospice – c/o Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

HARKIN

The death has taken place at his home of John Harkin, Derryconnor, Gortahork. Remains are reposing at his home. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) in the Church of Christ the King, Gortahork at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private from 11pm to 9am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice.

HERRITY

The death has taken place at his home of Paddy Eamonn Herrity, Magheroarty, Gortahork. Funeral on Monday in Christ the King Church, Gortahork at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

BOYLE

The death has taken place of Maggie Boyle, Marramellon, Meenacross. Funeral in St Patrick’s Church, Meenacross on Monday at 12noon. Burial afterwards in Maghery Cemetery.

ROARTY

The death has taken place in London of Anne Roarty, nee Gallagher, wife of John Roarty, Creeslough, formerly of Arranmore. Her remains are reposing at their home in Creeslough. Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough, tomorrow (Sunday) at 1pm, followed by burial in Doe Cemetery.

McGINLEY

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of Gerry McGinley, Glencar Scotch, Letterkenny. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) at 12 midday going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for Mass at 12.30pm, followed by interment in Conwal Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to St Vincent De Paul, c/o Jim McGlynn Funeral Director, Glencar or any Family member. Family time please from 11pm to 10am, and on the morning of the funeral.

McCALLION

The death has taken place at the Nazareth House, Fahan of Lizzy McCallion, 468, Killea. Her remains are reposing at her home. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) at 12.40pm going to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Killea for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Newtowncunningham Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the Nazareth House Patient’s Comfort Fund – c/o any family member.
