The Christmas Hamper was played for last Saturday the 3rd of December and the winner was John Boyce 6 with 31 pts, runner up was Louis Boyce 7 with 30 pts.
The gross winner was Pat Boyce 5 with 20 gross pts.
Third place was Jody McHugh 15 with 29 pts bot.
The front nine winner was Pete McBride Snr 17 with 18pts and the back nine winner was Denis Harkin 11 with 15 pts.
The club competition on Sunday the 4th Dec was won by Joe McHugh 16 with 36 nett over 9 holes.
The Old Tom Morris Links is now closed and the Sandy Hills Links is in play for all members and green fees.
The mini hamper will be played for this Sunday the 11th of December.
There will be a club presentation of all outstanding prizes and the Christmas Hampers on Sunday the 18th of December at 5.00pm sharp in the Rosapenna Pavilion.
The Rosapenna Gaeltacht League team will travel to Dunfanaghy G.C this Saturday the 10th of December for their second outing of the year.
All matches will start from the 1st tee with the top match out at 8.30am sharp.
The Rosapenna Golf Club AGM took place last Friday the 2nd of December.
Mr Edward McGroddy was introduced as the Club Captain for 2012 and has chosen Patrick McClafferty as his Vice Captain.
Eddie McGinley takes over as Handicap Secretary and Shaun Boyce has been elected onto the committee.
The club members would like to thank the out going handicap secretary Mick Gallagher Jnr for his dedication to the role over the last four years and also Marty Carlin the 2010Captain who has finished his term on the committee
