DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2011

HARDY

The death has occurred of Pearl Hardy, Slieve-Bracken, Gortlee, Letterkenny. Remains reposing at her home. Removal from there on Thursday at 1.15pm going to Conwall Parish Church, for Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm. Followed by cremation at Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast on Friday at 9.30am. Family flowers only please; donations in lieu to Conwal Parish Church, c/o Paschal Blake Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny. Family time from 10pm until 11am

CAMPBELL

The death has taken place at his son Keith’s residence at Alt Upper, Castlefinn of  Oliver Campbell. His remains will repose at his son’s residence from 6pm today. Funeral service at his son’s residence on Thursday afternoon at 2pm, and afterwards to Alt Presbyterian Church for burial in the family plot. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Eye Unit, Sligo General Hospital , c/o Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

DEMPSEY

The death has taken place of Paddy Dempsey, 75 Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey formerly of Gaeltex Drive, Oldtown, Letterkenny. His remains will repose at 75 Glenkeen Road, Aghadowey today. Funeral on Thursday at 12 noon for Requiem Mass in The Church of the Assumption, Aghadowey with interment  afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

BRADDELL

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Nicola Braddell, nee Perry, Aughadreena, Rosnakill. Her remains will repose at her home on Friday afternoon from 2pm to 10.30pm. Funeral service on Saturday afternoon at 1pm in the Church of Christ the Redeemer, Rosnakill, followed by interment in Milford Church of Ireland cemetery. House private please on the morning of the funeral. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice c/o Mc Elwee Funeral Directors.

McELHINNEY

The death has occurred at Letterkenny General Hospital of Eddie McElhinney, 32 Fernhill, Glencar, Letterkenny. His remains are reposing at the family home. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Wednesday at 10am in St Columba’s Church, Dromoghill. Interment afterwards in Leck Cemetery.

McMENAMIN

The death has taken place at Aras Ui Domhnail Nursing Home, Milford of Katie McMenamin, The Brae, Rathmullan. (aged 107 years). Remains reposing at her home. Funeral from there tomorrow for Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan at 12 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to the Residents Comfort Fund, Arus Ui Domhnaill – c/o McElwee Funeral Directors or any family member. House private from 10pm to 10am.

McCARRON

The death has occurred of Liam McCarron, Kinnego, Ballymagan, Buncrana. Remains are reposing at his home. Funeral from there tomorrow at 10.10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only.

LAUGHLIN

The death has taken place of Roy Laughlin, Dunwiley, Stranorlar. His remains are reposing at his home. Funeral from there tomorrow at 12.40pm for Service in Stranorlar Presbyterian Church at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Stranorlar Parish churchyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the Patients Comfort Fund, Finn View Ward, St Joseph’s Hospital – c/o any family member.

Family time from 10pm to 10am.
