GAELIC GAMES: ST COLUMBA’S BEAT ROSSES IN SCHOOLS FINAL

St. Columba’s, Glenties are the Donegal Vocational Schools Senior Champions after beating Rosses Community School in the county final today.

Played in bitterly cold conditions at Termon this afternoon, the Glenties lads eventually won by a margin of just two points-  1-8 to 1-6.

Rosses must have thought they had the trophy in the bag as they led by two points heading into the final quarter, but Glenties came back with four unanswered points to take victory.

Glenties goalscorer Anthony Thompson was without doubt man of the match.
