UPDATES: ESB repair staff are currently trying to restore power to a number of homes as today’s storm intensifies.

The worst affected areas reported so far are around Glenties and in the Killybegs area of Co Donegal where an outage occurred just after midday.

The power was also cut to homes in Moville.
