McGinley Motors in Donegal Town and Letterkenny is celebrating after their most popular Mazda model picked up another important award recognising quality and reliability.

The Mazda3 was awarded first place in the all-important European compact class on the latest customer satisfaction study conducted by the US research institute J.D. Power. In the largest survey of Germany’s automobile market, Mazda3 scored 85.6 percent for overall customer satisfaction.

In the rankings that reflect customer satisfaction for individual car brands, Mazda achieved an average of 83.1 percent. This ranked fourth on the list of 25 brands, and once again outperformed the industry average of 81.3 percent.

“The new Mazda3 model has been a great success for us this year thanks to its reliability track record,” explained Pa McGinley at McGinley Motors, Letterkenny.

“There’s something for everyone, you really have to get behind the wheel of these cars to experience how good they are. Mazdas are very economical to drive, have low carbon emissions and have lots of added features. We’re delighted with the interest so far. We’ve got a great selection of old and new cars to take a look at. I would invite people to drop in for a test drive.”

The most popular engine in the new Mazda3 range is the 1.6-litre diesel. Sitting in the lowest road tax band A this diesel unit is the natural choice for Irish drivers offering plenty of power and torque, while averaging just 4.5L/100km (62mpg).

Reliability, low running costs and the superior build-quality of Mazda models have been highlighted by the industry awards for the Japanese manufacturer so far this year. Mazda3’s success comes on the back of the Mazda MX-5 rated as ‘Best Sports Car’ in the JD Power Survey.

All Mazda3 models sold in Ireland are built in Mazda’s Hofu Plant in Yamaguchi, Japan. “The success of the Mazda3 range in Ireland over the last seven years is built on bullet-proof reliability. The quality of our Japanese-built cars is apparent the moment you sit in a Mazda3”, explains Billy Gilroy at McGinley Motors, Donegal Town.

“The combination of competitive pricing and generous levels of standard equipment is bringing new customers to the brand”, continues Billy. “The Mazda3 Executive model is the most popular Mazda on Irish roads with a host of standard equipment including Bluetooth®, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning and 15” alloys wheels”.

To take a test drive of the Mazda 3 or take a closer look at the full Mazda range call Billy at McGinley Motors Donegal Town on 074 97 40110 or Patrick at Letterkenny showroom, 074 91 25666.
