FITNESS GURU MICHAEL LAUNCHES NEW GYM

Members of local community organizations,  partners in sport, and customers alike gathered this week as well known local fitness guru and Letterkenny man Michael Black opened the doors to his new Optimal Fitness Studio, at Unit 2-3, Enterprise Fund Business Centre, Ballyraine, Letterkenny .

To celebrate the official opening Micheal unveiled his ‘New Year New You’ package including a one-to-one consultation, fitness test assessment, 10 private training sessions, personal healthy eating plan, weekly personal workout program, email, text and phone support, as well as a T-shirt and water bottle. If booked before January 23rd 2012 the ‘New Year New You’ package normally worth €965 is at the fantastic price of €250.

Delighted with the great turnout, Michael speaking at the event says: “We feel a great sense of achievement to officially open the doors to the new Optimal Fitness Studio here this evening and we would like to thank all of you who have come along to share and support our new business venture”

“From coaching to physiological testing, and personal fitness Optimal Fitness will set a new standard, a new direction, for quality and unprecedented customer service. We aim to provide professional personal training and sports performance coaching coupled with supplying top quality triathlon and multisport equipment”

With a combined experience of over 25 years, Michael Black and Adam Speer will offer one to one or group personal training and sports coaching. Michael and Adam have worked extensively with sports teams, clubs and individuals from local club level to world and international elite athletes.

Spending two years working with a sports management company in London, Michael managed and coached some of the best athletes in the world, working alongside renowned African distance runners, top British sprinters like Mark Lewis Francis, middle distance runners like Mo Farah and the Jamaican and current 100m world record holder Usain Bolt.

Adam is also currently working with the County Donegal GAA squad and has been instrumental in taking the team to a new level of fitness.

“Personal fitness and well-being is a lifestyle goal and there isn’t one person who doesn’t’ want to improve their health and their mental well-being” says Michael

“You don’t have to be a world class athlete to demand or be offered the type of knowledge, facilities or motivation that elite athletes and sports people receive every day. With an extensive range of fitness packages, Optimal Fitness will provide fitness training, weight management, resistance training, speed and agility development, strength training, fitness testing and nutritional services all aimed towards achieving each individual’s goal.
