DDTV: STORY UPDATE: Up to six men who spent Christmas weekend camping in Glenveagh National Park have left the area – leaving behind a water-logged tent and a pile of rubbish.

Donegaldaily.com reported on Christmas Day that the men – believed to be foreign nationals – had camped off the Derrylahan trail at the Co Donegal park.

They had lit a fire and consumed a large number of tins of lager.

Today they had left the area. They hadn’t cleaned up after them and they had left their tent behind – it was full of water and the front door was left open to the elements.
