DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31, 2011

JOHNSON

The death has taken place of Mary Johnson, Glenmaquinn at Letterkenny General Hospital. Removal from McClintock and Doherty Funeral Home, Towparks, Convoy at 4pm today going to her son William Johnson’s home, Glenmacquinn. Funeral service at 1pm at the family home on Monday followed by burial in the family plot in Convoy Presbyterian Church. House private from 10pm to 10am

DOHERTY

The death has taken place in the nursing unit, Falcarragh of Daniel Doherty, Upper Derryreel, Falcarragh. Reposing at his late residence. Funeral Mass on Monday at noon in St Finnian’s Church, Falcarragh with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private please from 11pm to 10am.

ROBINSON

The death has taken place in Letterkenny General Hospital of William John Robinson. Remains reposing at his late residence, Miltown, Newtowncunningham. House private, but neighbours and friends welcome. Funeral at 2pm on Monday in his home. Family flowers only, donations to Letterkenny Hospital Surgical 2 Ward c/o Adair and Neely Funeral Directors.

BOYLE

The death has occurred in the Donegal Hospice of John Boyle (Annie Ann), Burtonport. Removal today at 4pm from the Hospice to his home. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Donegal Hospice c/o Sean McGlynn Funeral Directors or any family member. House private from 11pm to 10am please. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St Columba’s Church, Acres with burial afterwards in Belcruit Cemetery.

DOHERTY TINNEY

The death has taken place at her home in her 94th year of Ethna Doherty Tinney, West End, Buncrana. Remains reposing at her late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow, Sunday at 1.30pm going to St Mary’s Oratory for 2pm Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.

TOLAND

The tragic death has taken place in Scotland of Anthony Toland, Westown, Malin Head. His remains are reposing at his residence at Westown. Funeral from there tomorrow, Sunday, going to the Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head, for Funeral Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in Lagg Cemetery, Malin. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The RNLI – c/o Kelly Funeral Directors, Carndonagh.
