Justin Brady Memorial

The Justin Brady Memorial Cup match took place on New Years Eve in Mac
Cumhaill Park. The Single mens team was managed by PJ Mc Ardle and the
Married mens team was managed by Stephen Lynch. In very wet
conditions, Niall Brady Devenney threw the ball in to get the match
started. The Singles started the better, quickly scorring 2-02 to no
score. The married men settled down and it was nip and tuck till half
time, with the Singles leading by 2 goals. The second half was very
entertaining, with both managers been very liberal with their
subsitutions, at one stage there were 38 players on the pitch!!! The
Singles eventually ran out as winners in this very entertaining game.
Terry Reilly said a few words at the end, thanking the Brady family
for their years of support to Mac Cumhaills. Bridie Brady presented
