Finn Harps Director of Football, Felix Healy, has confirmed that Finn Harps will return to training on 14th January ahead of the new Airtricity League First Division season which is due to get underway in March.

Like in previous years, Harps will travel around the county as part of their pre-season training and will include trips to Rathmullan on 21st February and Glengad in Inishowen on 4th February.

Healy has also confirmed that Harps will play “six or seven” pre-season games ahead of the new season – these will include the usual pre-season game against Derry City and games against Irish League and League of Ireland Premier Division sides.

Barry O’Mahoney has agreed a 1 year contract with the club. The player arrived at Finn Park last year on loan from Sligo Rovers.

Meanwhile Harps will host ‘Open Trails’ in Strabane this Sunday, 8th January, at the Melvin Centre at 2.00pm. If you are interested in taking part in the trails, please email sarahharps@gmail.com your details including position played, previous clubs, etc.
