Minor Board

The minor board held their AGM on Sunday last in Kilmacrennan Hall. A large crowd attended. The election of officers was completed as follows. Chairman – Eddie Harkin, Treasurer – Eileen Egan, PRO- Gerard Grant. Commitee Collette McElwaine, Mary Moore, Sarah McLaughlin, Brian Trearty, Tom Kelly

The managers for each age group is as follows.

Under 6- Pj McFadden and Paul Gallagher

Under 8-Paddy McMenamin, Coleen Doherty and David Brady

Under 10-Paddy Gallagher, Kevin McGettiigan and Liam McGettigan

Under 12-Pj McFadden, Andrew McFadden and Brendan McFadden

Under 14-Pauric Hilferty, Bernard Gallagher and Paul Doherty

Under 16-

Minor – John McCafferty

 

The Minor Board have produced an excellent 2012 calendar which is for sale in Gracie Stores, The Lagoon, Mandy Sweeney’s and The Millbridge store. Calendars cost €10. Eddie Harkin, Minor Board Chairman can also be contacted for a calendar on 086 608 2512.

Lotto:

The Lotto draw took place in the Glenveagh Inn on Friday last. The winning numbers were 3,5,15 and 20. There was no Jackpot winner, Declan McGettigan was the match 3 winner. Michael McBride and Primrose Rankin won €10 each in the open draw. Next weeks draw takes place in McClaffertys Bar. Hugh Harkin and Bernard Gallagher are the coordinators. The jackpot is now is €1350.

Fundraising:

The club scrap metal collection is now finished. Thanks to all who donated items. Thanks also to Letterkenny Skip Hire.

Coaching

Anyone who wishes to participate in foundation or Level 1 coaching courses please contact coaching officer Brian Trearty on 086 340 6167.

The county board are hosting beginner and refresher referees courses in the coming weeks and months. Anyone interested in taking part should contact Hugh Harkin on 087 689 1967.
