BARRATTS CLOSES DOWN AT TEMPEST STORE

BARRATTS Shoes based at the Tempest Store in Letterkenny closes for the final time this evening.

However the Tempest Store itself is not affected by the move.

Responding to rumours that the main outlet was also closing its doors, manager Michelle Yeates told donegaldaily.com: “Barratts closes this evening. We have purchased all the stock and we will trade from that area of the store as normal.

“Rumours about Tempest itself closing are just not true. Tempest will close at 9pm this evening all right – but it will be open again tomorrow morning at 9.30am with 70% off many items across the store!”

Barratts is in administration and is rolling out closures across Ireland and the UK.

The Letterkenny staff have all been paid redundancy.
