GAA NOTES: GLENSWILLY

The lotto match 2 winner for 16th January was Mary Moy Newmills. Next weeks jackpot is €3,460. Sellers this week are Neil Gallagher and Colin Kelly.

The reconvened AGM took place on Saturday night and the following officers and committees were elected: chairman; Aidy Glackin, secretary; Sharon McGinty, ass-secretary; Eddie Crawford, treasurer; Paul Gallagher, ass-treasurer; Paddy Devine, pro; Neil Gallagher, registers; Paddy McConnell & Tommy Simmons, child protection officer; Micky McHugh, county board delegate; Barry McDaid, northern board delegate; Brendan Walsh, oifig na gaeilge; Barry O’Ludog, players rep; Eamon Ward, field committee;Hughie McDaid, Steven McDaid, Frank Carberry, Peter McConnell, Cieran Gallagher, hall committee; Karen McHugh, Charlie Peter McDaid, neil Gallagher, Paddy Devine, Margaret Anne McDaid, Aisling McDaid, Fiona mc daid, lotto committee; Margaret Anne McDaid, Aisling McDaid, Hughie McDaid, John McGinley (rashedoge).

The following managers were elected: senior; Manus McFadden, 3rd team; Aidy glackin, u-21;Gerard mc grenera & mauns Kelly, minor; Brendan walsh & eddie Crawford, u-16;brian mc hugh,johnny mc ginley & semi Callaghan, u015; Gerard mc ginty, noel mc devitt & johnny mc ginley, u-14; Gerard mc ginty & noel mc devitt, u-13; tommy Marley & noel mc devitt, u-12 paddy mc ginty & paul gallagher, u-8 paddy devine, sean bonner & Gerard mc grenera, u-12 girls; Sharon mc ginty.

Circuits will start in the hall on Monday the 16th at 7pm for ladies and 8pm for men, and it costs €45 for 10 sessions. All are welcome.

 

If there is anyone interested in getting a copy of the county final dvd they can contact the club secretary Barry mc Daid.

 

The gym is ladies only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8pm.

 

There will be Zumba Dance classes in the hall every Thursday @ 8.15pm, all are welcome.

 

There will be Irish classes in the clubhouse on Tuesday 8th at 8pm, all are welcome.
