NOW this is one you couldn’t make up – Donegal’s first ever cross-dressing beauty pageant!
And it’s all for charity of course.
The event is the idea of those clever people at the Central Bar in Lifford where a shy spokesman/spokeswoman revealed: “This is a Lifford Hospital Fundraiser where 14 men are dressing up as Women for a Beauty Pagent, there are 2 semi finals and a final, starting on January 28 and the final is on February 11
“This guarantees to be a brilliant and fun night with all locals doing the dressing up.
Karaoke is on all 3 nights by the big mouth himself EL O’ Kane so you can be sure a bit of stick will fly!”
The men that are Dressing up are: Kevy McBrearty, Ryan White, Ciaran Porter, Hugo Stewart,, John Lafferty, Patsy McHugh, Stephan Friel, Steve Devine, Paul Kelly, Paddy McCullagh, Mark Carlin (Wimpy), Gary White, Jason McBrearty, Geoffrey Crawford.
Sounds like it might be a few fun nights out!
