Three Donegal schoolchildren are through to the annual Doodle 4 Google finals – and friends of both have contacted donegaldaily.com seeking your support.

A girl from Killybegs, a boy from Glenties and a boy from Gartan are competing with kids nationwide to win the top prize.

(three others can send in their links if they wish!)

So without any interference from us, here’s the four separate pitches:

1. KIM McELHINNEY WRITES:

Ciara Mc Carthy from St. Catherines, Killybegs has made the All-Ireland finals of Doodle 4 Google. She needs the public vote to win a €10,000 grant for her school, please support her it will only take 2 seconds! 🙂

2. PATRICIA BRADY WRITES:

A local 12 year old, Brian Alcorn, a student of Termon National school from Gartan has made it into the final 5 in the Doodle 4 google competition.
The winner will be decided by public votes, I have attached the link to brians “Doodle”
The winning student will have their doodle appear on the Google Ireland homepage for 24 hours.
They will also receive a laptop for themselves and one for their teacher, and their school will receive a €10,000 technology grant!

This year’s theme was ‘I wish…. so it would be great if you could please put this on your website and get as much public support for this young man.

Also Mark O’Donnell is a 5th class pupil in Scoil Mhuire, Glenties, who has reached the Public Vote stage for the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class category in the Doodle 4 Google Competition. Mark’s picture entitle ‘Exploring Time’ can be viewed here http://www.google.ie/doodle4google/2012/vote.html#d=d3-15

Another finalist is Molly Ni Chearnaigh from Gaelscoil Cois Feabhail, Moville whose entry can be seen at  http://www.google.ie/doodle4google/2012/vote.html#d=d1-13

Go on….vote for all four of them!
