DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR TUESDAY, JANUARY 24, 2012

McBREARTY

The death has occurred of Michael McBrearty, Rownfield House, Donegal Town and formerly of 53 Conlin Road, Killybegs. Reposing at the residence of his brother, Charlie McBrearty, Castlecarn, Kilcar, from 5.30pm today, Tuesday. Removal on Thursday at 11.40am to St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Killybegs. Family time from 12 midnight to 9am on both nights. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Rownfield House, Donegal Town.

MOONEY

The death has taken place of Maggie Mooney, Bridgend, Ramelton. Her remains are reposing at her late residence. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

GALLAGHER

The death has occurred of Michael Gallagher (Mickey), Carrick and Doonan, Donegal Town. Remains are reposing at his home in Doonan. Removal from there this today, Tuesday at 6pm, going to St Columba’s Church, Carrick. Funeral Mass tomorrow Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

McCREADY

The death has taken place at her home of Christina McCready, 48 The Woods, Buncrana. Remains reposing at her home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30am going to St Mary’s Oratory for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am.

SMITH

The death has taken place of Colm Smith, 5 Rockfield Terrace, Buncrana. His remains are reposing at his daughter Denise and son-in-law Donal Bradley’s residence at 9 Burwood, Buncrana. Funeral from there tomorrow, Wed, at 9.30am for Requiem Mass at 10am in St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana, followed by interment in Cockhill Cemetery.

McLAUGHLIN

The death has taken place at her late residence of Anna-Rita Mc Laughlin, Chapel Street, Carndonagh. Removal from her home tonight at 8pm going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, to repose overnight. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wed, at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

JOHNSTON

The death has occurred of Catherine Johnston, Nee Mc Ginley, Derryfad, Creeslough. Her remains are reposing at her home. Funeral mass tomorrow Wed at 11am  in Creeslough Chapel, followed by burial in Doe Cemetery.
