DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR THURSDAY, JANUARY 26, 2012

KELLY

The sudden death has taken place in Westport, Co. Mayo of Philomena Kelly, nee Devine, 1 The Glebe, Rossgeir, Lifford, and formerly of Rouskey, Dunamanagh. Her remains will repose at her home from tomorrow, Friday. Funeral from there on Sunday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 11am, followed by interment in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Glenmornan. Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Foyle Hospice – c/o Quigley Funeral Directors, 1ANewtown Place, Strabane.

CARRABIN

The death has occurred of Anne Carrabin of Church Road, Killybegs. Remains reposing at the home of her son, Joseph Carrabin at 5 St Cummin’s Hill, Killybegs, from 5pm today, Thursday.  Removal on Saturday at 10.15am to the Church of Saints. Joseph and Conal, Bruckless, for 11am Requiem Mass.  Burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Killybegs.  House private on the morning of funeral.  Family flowers only, donations if desired to Killybegs Community Hospital, c/o any family member.

RANKIN

The death has taken place at St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar of Jim Rankin, Clooncarney, Trentagh, Letterkenny. Removal from the hospital today, going to his home. Service in Trentagh Presbyterian Church on Saturday afternoon at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 10am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar – c/o Charlie McClafferty, Funeral Director or any member of the Rankin Family.

HARVEY

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Tommy Harvey, late of St Finian’s Park, Moville. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there tomorrow, Friday, at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St Pius the Xth Church, Moville at 11am. Interment afterwards in Ballybrack Cemetery.

BROWNE

The death has occurred at the Letterkenny General Hospital of Mary Browne, 43 Meadowhill, Kiltoy, Letterkenny and formerly Hunter, Ard O’Donnell. Remains reposing at her home. Funeral from there tomorrow, Friday, at 9.15am going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 10am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the family plot in Conwall Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny General Hospital  – c/o Pascal Blake Funeral Director, Stony Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny.
