Donegal will be coming down with Roses today – of the Tralee variety that is!

Both this year’s winning Rose of Tralee Tara Talbot and the Donegal Rose Maria McCole will be visiting various places across the county.

Tara and Maria’s busy day will begin at the Radisson Hotel – the organisers of this year’s Donegal Rose selection.

They will then head to McCullough’s Jewelers, who sponsored Maria’s election and then to Patrick Gildea’s hairdressers who did Maria’s hair.

The ladies will then head to the Medical Rehabilitation Centre as part of Maria’s aim to raise funds for the Medical Rehab in St Conals.

The Roses will then head to Convoy to visit the Edel McBride Studio as Edel sponsored a handknit designer creation for the Derry Rose for 2011.

Then at 11.30am Tara will discuss how her year is going with Shaun Doherty on Highland Radio.
