Ecumenical Service
Thank you to all who participated in and prepared for our successful annual ecumenical gathering. A special thanks to the ladies who baked, and the Centre for their valuable time.

Do this in Memory
The next Mass in the Do this in Memory programme is next Saturday evening. Parents are asked to come to a meeting on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. sharp for 15 minutes at the Parochial Hall, Kincasslagh to prepare this Mass.

Community Radio
The meeting will be held in Ionad Teampall Chroine on Monday 6th February at 7.30 p.m. All are welcome.

Antenatal Classes
Will commence on Wednesday 22nd February 2012 in The Public Services Building, Dungloe. To register or for more info call 074 9542319.

St Patrick’s Day Celebrations
A meeting will take in the Community Centre, Acres, Burtonport on Monday 6th Feb @ 8.00 p.m. for anyone free and willing to help out in any way with the planning and preparation of the local St Patrick’ day celebrations of Irish Culture 2012. This event has become more popular year on year and takes a fair bit of organising.
We would be grateful for your attendance and for any help you feel you could contribute.

Course for engaged couples
“What every couple should know before they get married”. The course will provide a wide variety of topics to help you to understand each other better and improve your communication skills.
The course will be held in Kilmacrennan in The Old Primary School on the 10th of March 2012. Any questions or bookings ring Magdalena 087 94 99 741. €50 per couple.’

Visitation
The sick and Housebound of the Parish will be visited with Communion this Thursday and Friday

Burtonport Kincasslagh Community Alert
Grant support is available to anyone 65 years or over living alone for personal Monitored Alarms (which may include carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms): and also an outside light. This grant is now means tested. Call 9543181 or 9543124 or contact any committee member.

John Annie Ann’s Tea Party
Please note the Tea Party in Johns memory is on April 15th, not this weekend as advertised locally.

Compassionate Communication
This six week course offers participants better ways of dealing with anger/ conflict at home, in relationships or at work. It offers the opportunity to understand/ explore how to manage anger, recognise what triggers anger and learn a range of techniques to release anger.
Venue: Pastoral Centre, Monastery Avenue, Letterkenny

Lent
Lent begins this year on Ash Wednesday 22nd February. Trocaire boxes are available at all Churches for use in your homes. A member of Trocaire will speak at the Masses on the first Sunday of Lent, to fill us in on what exactly happens with the money collected for Trocaire.

Keadue Rovers FC
Weekly bingo continues in Kincasslagh Hall every Friday night and the club lotto every fortnight, which is currently €2150. Keadue Rovers are at home in the league this Sunday at Central Park at 2pm against Drumbar F.C. After a fine run of results, the club is now top of the table in Division 2. There are only 5 games left this season and we hope to get a big crowd out for remaining matches as the club aims for promotion.
Crabbitt Crabs
You are all invited to a fundraising disco and presentation evening in aid of “Our Lady’s Children Hospital” in Crumlin, which will take place this Sat eve from 9.30 at the Lobster pot in Burtonport. A presentation of the ‘combined funds’ raised from both the New Years Swim & the fundraising Disco will also take place.
