GARDAI INVESTIGATE ALLEGED SEX ASSAULT

GARDAI in Ballyshannon have arrested one person as part of an investigation into allegations of sexual assault in the town on Sunday.

The person has been released pending a file being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardai have not released any further details but it is understood both the alleged victim, who is female, and the alleged attacker, who is male, are both minors.
