DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2012

BOYLE

The sudden death has taken place of Tadgh Boyle, of Stran Rd, Bunbeg. Reposing at his residence, removal from there tomorrow, Sunday, to St Mary’s Church, Derrybeg for prayers at 7pm. Funeral mass at 12 noon on Monday followed by burial to Magheragallon cemetery.

McMENAMIN

The sudden death has taken place at Roundfield Nursing Home, Donegal of Maureen McMenamin formerly of Main Street, Ballybofey. Removal from McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Navenney Car Park, Ballybofey today at 5.30pm going to St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar to repose overnight. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Sunday, at 11am. Interment afterwards in Stranorlar Cemetery.

CORRY (LONDON)

The death has taken place in St George’s Hospital in London of Deric Corry, formerly of Market Square, Ramelton. Funeral arrangements later.

McDAID

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of James McDaid, Coolboy, Letterkenny. Remains reposing at his home. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Sunday, in St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan at 12.30pm. Burial afterwards in Tully Cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 11am

DOHERTY

The death has taken place at his late residence of John Doherty (Saddler), New Park Road, Carndonagh. Funeral from his late residence tomorrow, Sunday, at 1.30pm for funeral Mass at 2pm in Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh, followed by burial in the3 adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 11pm to 10am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Alzheimer’s Unit, Carndonagh Hospital, or Lifeline, Inishowen.

GIBBONS

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Bridget Gibbons, Minahay, Clonmany, and Beachhill Private Nursing Home, Lisfannon. Her remains are reposing at her sister Hannah and Joe Toland’s residence at Cleagh, Clonmany. Funeral from there on Monday morning, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for funeral mass at 11am, followed by interment in the new cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal branch of the MS society, c/o any family member. House private please from 11pm to 10am.

DIVER (BELFAST)

The death has taken place in Belfast of Frances Diver, formerly of Wind Park, Glentogher, Carndonagh. Her remains are reposing at her nephew Raymond Doherty’s home in Mullins, Carndonagh. Funeral from there tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 10.30 for 11 o’clock funeral mass in Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

DOHERTY

The death has taken place of Hugh Doherty, Park House, Malin Head. His remains are reposing at his brother John’s home at Ballygorman, Malin Head. Funeral from there tomorrow, Sunday, at 11.30am going to the Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head for Mass at 12noon. Interment afterwards in Lagg Cemetery, Malin.
