BRENDAN TURNS OUT TO BE A DIAMOND BEFORE ST.VALENTINE EVEN STRIKES!

It may still be a couple of days before Cupid’s arrow is due to be fired on St.Valentine’s Day.

But that didn’t stop one romantic Donegal guy from going down on bended knee to propose – in front of a packed restaurant in Letterkenny.

But this was no spur-of-the-moment decision for Brendan Logue.

Brendan planned the entire thing and even had a stunning diamond solitaire delivered to the Yellow Pepper restaurant earlier in the day.

The ring was delivered alongside a chocolate dessert as Brendan went down on bended knee.

Thankfully Brendan’s girlfriend Brona McGarvey said ‘yes’ and the entire restaurant burst into cheers and applause.

Yellow Pepper owner Carol Meenan said “It was a lovely gesture and the entire restaurant was delighted.

“We’re taking bets that we might get a few more proposals before St.Valentine’s Day is over. Who says romance is dead,” said Carol.
