DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2012

FOX (TEXAS)

The death has occurred in Texas, USA of Tommy Fox, formerly of Ballyshannon.  Cremation to take place in Texas.  Memorial Mass  in St Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon at a date to be arranged.

WILSON

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Peter Wilson, Cleagh, Clonmany. Removal from the Chapel of Rest today at 2pm at going to his home. Funeral from there on Thursday going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Medical 1, Letterkenny General Hospital – c/o McFeely Undertakers or any family member.

WITTER

The death has taken place at St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar of Rebecca Jane Witter, Kiltyferrigal, Cloghan. Removal from McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Navenny Car Park, Ballybofey today at 1pm going to the home of her brother in law Ronnie Barclay at Kiltyferrigal. Removal from there tomorrow, Wednesday, at 5pm going to St John’s Church, Kilteevogue to repose overnight. Funeral service on Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in the family plot at Stranorlar Parish Church. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Barnes View Ward, St Jospeh’s Hospital, Stranorlar – c/o any family member. Family time from 11pm to 10am.

BRENNA

The death has taken place at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin of Mary Teresa Brenna, Lettermore, Drumkeen. Removal from McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Nevenny Car Park, Ballybofey today at 6.30pm going to her home. Funeral from there on Thursday at 10.15am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 10am.

McGONAGLE

The death has taken place at her home of Kathleen McGonagle, (Jim), Cloontagh, Clonmany. Remains reposing at her home. Funeral from there tomorrow, Wednesday, at 10am for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Clonmany. Interment afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

REID

The death has taken place at Melmount Manor, Strabane of Isobell Reid (nee Harper), 30 Main Street, Sion Mills and formerly of Drumban, Castlefin. Her remains are reposing at her home. Funeral from there tomorrow, Wed, at 9.30am for Requiem Mass in St Theresa’s Church, Sion Mills at 10am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers please to Melmount Manor Residents Comfort Fund c/o Quigleys Funeral Directors, 1a Newtown Place, Strabane.

O’DRISCOLL

The sudden death has taken place of Mick O’Driscoll, Ard Kelly, Milford. His remains are reposing at his home. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Wednesday, at 12 noon in St Peter’s Church, Milford with cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin. House private from 11pm – 11am. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Barnardos c/o McElwee Funeral Directors or any family member.

DOHERTY

The death has taken place at Letterkenny General Hospital of Teresa Doherty (The Homes) formerly of Cregnahorna, Carndonagh. Remains are reposing at the home of her niece Annemarie Bonner, Templemouyle, Culdaff. Funeral from there today at 10.30am going to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 10am.

DAVISON

The death has taken place at The Donegal Hospice of Betty Davison, High Cairn, Ramelton. Remains are reposing at her home. Funeral from there this today at 2pm for Service in Ramelton Presbyterian Church at 2.30pm. Interment afterwards in Bank Cemetery. Family flowers only.  Donations if desired to Donegal Hospice or Oncology Ward, Letterkenny General Hospital House private

DALY

The death has occurred of Edward Daly, Rough Park, Woodlands, Letterkenny & formerly of Manorcunningham & Bearsden, Glasgow. Remains reposing at his home. Funeral mass today in The Church of The Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine at 11am. Interment afterwards in Leck Cemetery. House private from 11pm to 11am Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The Irish Cancer Society, c/o Con Mc Daid & Sons Funeral Directors or any family member.

GALLAGHER

The death has occurred of Jackie Gallagher, East Rock, Ballyshannon.  Removal from John McGee and Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Road, Ballyshannon, todat to St Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon at 10.30am for Funeral Mass at 11am.  Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.  House is private please. Donations in lieu of flowers to North West Hospice, c/o McGee’s, or any family member.
