LETTERKENNY Garda district was the second busiest in the country at the weekend, donegaldaily.com has learned.
Local gardai made 19 arrests for a variety of alleged offences between Friday and Sunday.
Only Limerick city district was busier.
“Gardai were flat out in the town,” said one source.
“It was one of the busiest weekends every in Letterkenny with a variety of alleged offences detected.
“Only Limerick was busier.”
