DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2012

SEAMUS CARR

The death has occurred of Seamus Carr, Meenacannon, Kilcar. Remains leaving St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10am, to arrive at his late residence at 4pm, approximately.  Removal on Wednesday at 6.30pm to St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, to arrive at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

TOM SHIELS

The death has taken place at Aras Ui Domhnaill Nursing Home of Tom Shiels, Portsalon, Fanad. Removal from the nursing home today at 4pm, going to Dargan, Portsalon. Funeral from there on Wednesday at 11.30am going to St Columba’s Church, Massmount for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

STEVEN McGRANAGHAN

The death has occured of Steven McGranaghan, Rinboy, Fanad. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Removal from there today, Monday at 6pm, going to St Mary’s Church, Fanavolty to repose overnight. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday,  at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. House private please. No flowers please.  Donations in lieu to the Oncology Unit Letterkenny General Hospital c/o McAteer Funeral Director or any Family member

JOHN CONNAGHAN

The death has occurred at Letterkenny General Hospital of John Connaghan, Cloughglass, Burtonport. Her remains are reposing at Mc Glynn’s Funeral Home, Chapel Road, Dungloe, with rosary tonight, Sunday, at 9pm. Removal from McGlynn’s Funeral Home Dungloe, today Monday, at 6.30pm going to St. Columba’s Church, Acres for 7pm. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11am, followed by interment in Belcruit Cemetery.

MARY McGLINCHEY

The death has taken place at St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar of Mary McGlinchey, The Curragh, Killygordon. Her remains are reposing at her daughter Martina Morrison’s home at 42 College Park, Letterkenny. Funeral from there tomorrow, Tuesday, at 10am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Crossroads with burial afterwards in the Family plot. Family time please from 11pm to 11am Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice or Barnesview Ward, St Josephs Hospital c/o any family member or Gibson Funeral Director, Convoy.
