DONEGAL is on a National Lottery roll today – after a SECOND big prize was bought in the county.
Earlier donegaldaily.com was first to report how a lucky woman from Co Kildare is celebrating after a relative bought her a €100,000 scratch card in the Spar shop in Derrybeg.
Now we can reveal that today’s massive €50,000 Telly Bingo Snowball prize was bought in the Lunchbox in Ardaravan Square in Buncrana!
The winning number was o68.
The county has seen THREE National Lottery jackpot winners in the past two months – and a some decent prize money for others on the Winning Streak TV show.
“That would buy a lot of lunches in here,” said one customer at the Lunchbox today.
“We don’t know who has the winning ticket but we are delighted for whoever it is.
“Fifty grand is a good lump of cash to have, especially now.”
Earlier the Kildare winner said she was over the moon when the scratchcard was given to her as a birthday present.
