PROSTITUTES are now openly plying their trade in several towns across Co Donegal.
Two weeks ago donegaldaily.com reported how one prostitute had to be removed from a bar in Letterkenny after offering her services to men there.
Now donegaldaily.com readers in Buncrana and Bundoran have told us how they have been approached by foreign prostitutes during the daylight hours.
Two women approached several men in Bundoran on Saturday and Sunday. One handed over a piece of paper with poorly written English offering “massage” and “other services.”
One man out for a stroll – trying to lose weight as part of Operation Transformation – told us: “I couldn’t believe my eyes or my ears. Her clothes left nothing to the imagination.
“She handed me a note with a telephone number on it and said ‘we can go to your car now?’ I just said ‘no thanks’ and walked on but I couldn’t believe it.”
We have also received similar reports from Buncrana on Monday evening said he had received a business card offering ‘massage services’ from “a woman who said she could do it any time and any where.”
He added: “This happened at around 5.30pm. It was still daylight and I couldn’t believe it.”
The Letterkenny incident wasn’t a one-off.
We have also received several reports of similar incidents in the past few days with publicans on high alert.
