The people of Dunfanaghy have remembered Frank Carson who died earlier today.

The 85 year old comedian from Belfast had owned a holiday home in the Horn Head area for a number of years but had sold it.

He was remembered fondly today in the coastal town where he mixed with locals during his stays at his holiday retreat.

He later moved to Balbriggan in north Dublin before moving to Blackpool.

He had been ill for some time.
