Top Donegal nightclub Voodoo has come out on top at the IMRO Awards tonight.

The Letterkenny venue has been named the Best Live Music Venue in Ulster.

Owner Jason Black and his staff were in Dublin tonight for the awards and were left speechless when they beat off competition from many of the country’s top music venues.

Jason told Donegaldaily.com “Tonight I’m a very proud Donegal man promoting live music seven nights a week in the Voodoo Lounge in Letterkenny.

“This award is for all the staff, the musicians and of course everyone who comes to Voodoo to hear good music week-in and week-out.

“It’s going to be a long night but I’m delighted for everyone involved.”
