FIVE DONEGAL SCHOOLS TO GET CASH FOR REFURBISHMENT

Five schools in Co Donegal are to be given cash to replace prefab classrooms with proper buildings.

It’s part of a €35M programme for more than 200 hundred schools across the country.

The local national schools to benefit are Annagry National School, Woodlands School in Letterkenny, St Patrick’s Girls National School in Carndonagh and Niall Mor National School in Killybegs.

Crana College in Buncrana is also being offered a grant.

The grants hav been welcomed by Labour Senator Jimmy Harte.
