SINN FEIN TO MEET THIS WEEKEND TO DISCUSS FUTURE OF PARTY

A number of senior Sinn Fein members will gather in Donegal this weekend to discuss various aspects of the party’s future.

A Sinn Féin spokesperson confirmed the Party’s National Director of Elections and National Organiser will join Donegal’s two Sinn Féin TDs Padraig MacLochlainn and Pearse Doherty to lay out key points of discussion for the coming years.

Announcing details the Party spokesperson said “The wider Sinn Féin organisation in Donegal will congregate in the Radisson Hotel, Letterkenny at 4pm on Sunday in order to map out our strategy for the coming years.

“The discussion will focus on the 2014 local and European elections, the upcoming Fiscal Treaty Referendum, and how the Party can best capture the momentum we have gained from last year’s elections and the hugely positive feedback the Party is receiving on the ground,” he said.

He added that Sinn Féin in Donegal has never been stronger and there is a real energy within the Party to continue to build and move forward.

“Sunday’s meeting will allow us develop a comprehensive strategy to guide Sinn Féin’s strategic focus for the coming years,” he added.
