Ryan McConnell returns to international duty next week. The defender has been called into the Republic of Ireland under-17 side for the UEFA Elite Phase Qualifiers which are hosted by the Netherlands.

The Letterkenny & District Schoolboys season resumed action at the weekend. The under-14’s had a victory over Ballyare Diamonds but the under-12’s and under-16 Crusaders side suffered defeats at the hands of Swilly Rovers and Illistrin respectively.

The senior team kick-off their new season with a trip to Buncrana Hearts on 1st April in the first round of the Knockalla Cup.

There was no jackpot winner in the weekly lotto draw. Three matched three numbers and each win 25 euro – Patrick McClean, c/o Liam O’Donnell; Bridie Mulhern, Dr. McGinley Road, c/o Liam O’Donnell; and Denis Roper, Killygordan.
