Termon GAA Notes: Week Ending 05/03/12
Minor Board:
Training takes place on Friday evenings at 7.30 for U13/14/15 at 7.30pm in the Craoibhin.
Under 6, 8 & 10 Training will resume this Saturday mornings at the Kilmacrennan National School from 11am until 12.15. The club would like to encourage new children to come along and try the training for the first number of weeks. It is a great way for your child to have fun and get exercise!!
Minor Board Registration will take place in An Craoibhin on Friday the 16th March from 6pm until 9.30pm. For any queries please contact Eddie Harkin on 086 608 2512.
Ladies Board:
On Sunday a mixture of minor,under16 and under14 girls travelled to Bundoran to play a friendly against a team from Louisburg, Co Mayo. Thanks to Maureen and Grainne for arranging this outing which gave some of the girls their first outing of the year.
Good luck to Hollie McDaid, Lauren McElwaine, Caroline Gallagher, Niamh Kelly, Elaine Doherty and Roselean Gallagher who are part of Loreto, Milford school team who play in an Ulster final on Friday against Loreto, Cavan and also their manager Grainne McCafferty.
Good luck also to Ashling Ryan, Aoife Ryan, Shannagh Kelly and Jamie Lee Murray who are part of the Loreto, Letterkenny school team who also play in an Ulster final on Friday.
Well done to all our under-age girls from Kilmacrennan N.S and Termon N.S who both won through to the semi final of their groups in the Cumann na mBunscoil.
The Junior Ladies are currently training every Wednesday at 8pm in the Craoibhin, Termon. All new players welcome. Contact Harry McGlynn on 086 850 0734 for information.
Lotto:
The Lotto draw took place in the Glenveagh Inn on Friday last. The winning numbers were 2, 6, 12 and 24. Claire Friel and Paddy Murray Senior matched 3 numbers and won €40 each. Next week’s draw takes place in the Lagoon, Termon. Joe McDaid and Kathleen McSharry are the coordinators. The jackpot now is €1900.
Senior:
The seniors play Glenswilly this Saturday at 4pm in the Junior Gaeltacht at the Burn Road. All support would be greatly appreciated.
Club Social:
The Club social will be taking place this Saturday the 10th of March in the Lagoon. Tickets are €12.50 and available from any member of the executive.
Membership
Annual Membership is now due for renewal. All players, managers and coaches must have membership to be involved with the club. Adult membership with lotto is €80 for adults and €60 for students. Anyone wishing to purchase a Club Donegal ticket which permits access to all men’s club games in the county free of charge can do so for €200 including your club membership.
