ST EUNAN’S CATHEDRAL NEWSLETTER

Sunday 11th March 2012

Third Sunday of Lent

PRAYER TO ST. PATRICK
O Saint Patrick, Apostle of Ireland, submit to God our Father our every temporal and spiritual need, that through your intercession, we may find help in all our necessities. Obtain for us the grace that we may be found worthy of our faith and of eternal salvation.

EDUCATION OF STUDENTS FOR THE PRIESTHOOD IN THE DIOCESE OF RAPHOE
This weekend, we make our annual appeal for funds to help with the education of future priests for our Diocese. All contributions will be greatly appreciated. Your contribution should be put in the enclosed envelope and returned to the Cathedral on St. Patrick’s Day. At present we have five young men studying for our Diocese.

LIFE IN THE EUCHARIST
Do you want to understand what the Eucharist means to you?
Do you want to deepen your understanding of your faith?
As part of the preparation for the Eucharistic Conference in June, St. Peter’s Church, Milford will host a short retreat in the Parish on the theme of ‘Eucharist’ which will be directed by the LITE Blessed Sacrament Team from Dublin. This team have hosted workshops and retreats in Ards in the past. Their goal is to help us develop our understanding of our Mass, prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and how to extend it into our Christian daily living.
This Retreat will be held in the Oratory of St. Peter’s Church on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April and all are welcome. Booking is necessary. For further information and bookings, please contact Milford Parochial House on 9153236.
