CUMANN NA MBUNSCOIL NOTES

QUIZ: The county quiz finals took place in the McCools Centre in Ballybofey on Tues. 13th March with eight schools taking part. It was the quiz team from Kilmacrennan NS who made it 3 in-a-row when they won it again. Results: 1st Kilmacrennan NS; 2nd Scoil Iosagain, Buncrana; 3rd Meenaneary NS; 4th Lurgybrack NS. These four teams now quailfy for the Ulster Quiz final.

 

Football Championship Results:

Roinn 1 (Section 1) Winners – Gaelscoil, Leitir Ceanainn (Boys) & Lurgybrack NS (Girls)

Roinn 3 (Northwest) Winners- Kilmacrennan NS (Boys) & KIlmacrennan NS (Girls)

Roinn 4 (East) Winners- Drumkeen NS (Boys) & St. Baithins NS (Girls)

Roinn 4 (Northwest A)- Downings NS (Boys) & Termon NS (Girls)

 

INDOOR COMPETITIONS:

Any school interested in competing in the boys (hurling) or girls (football) competitions are asked to email cumanndl@hotmail.com. note-all children must be U12 on 1st July 2012. This means that its a 5th class competition.
