NORTH WEST 10K COMMITTEE ANNOUNCE LUCKY CHARITIES

The three charities to benefit from this year’s North West 10K are the Donegal Down Syndrome Association, MS Ireland Donegal Branch and the Buddy Bear Appeal.

Details of the race were announced last night at a function attended by both the Lord Mayor of Letterkenny Gerry McMonagle and the Mayor of Donegal Noel McBride.

Further details of the event, which takes on Sunday, May 6th in Letterkenny, will be announced soon.

To date, the event which first started in 1996, has raised over a staggering €500,000 for local charities.
