STAFF at a Gaoth Dobhair based company have been told they’re being put on a shorter working week.
SIOEN Apparel based at the business park in Derrybeg makes uniforms for An Garda Siochana and protective clothing for a host of other organisations.
Local TD Pearse Doherty said 17 staff have been told they are being put on a three-day week and their salaries reduced accordingly.
“This is very bad news for the people concerned and the area,” he said tonight.
