THE ARDARA WALKING FESTIVAL – IN PICTURES!

written by Stephen Maguire March 19, 2012

The Ardara Walking Festival was blessed with glorious weather to enjoy what is undoubtedly one of the most ruggedly beautiful parts of Donegal from Port to Maghera.

Dozens of walkers enjoyed the trek and even better was that there were no serious injuries to report.

The Donegal Mountain Rescue team did treat one of the walkers for a knee injury but it was a small price to pay for yet another brilliant weekend.

Here are a few pictures for readers to enjoy by kind permission of Patrick McBrearty.

And who knows? – it may entice some of you to try the walking festival next year.
